Lydia, An Entrepreneurial Woman

"One of those listening was a woman name Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message" (Acts 16:14. NIV).

Did you realize that women were entrepreneurs since Biblical days? Lydia is an example of such a woman. She is an early example of a true entrepreneur. Entrepreneurial women display business qualities of being hard-working with skills in organization, management, employee training, and development. As an entrepreneurm, you need to know how to start, manage and operate a successful small business. Do you have all of the information you need to operate your business successfully? Be a life-long learner and continue to learn what you need to be successful in your work.
